1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work correctly, improve performance, and provide information to site owners.

Cookies can be "session cookies", which are deleted when you close your browser, or "persistent cookies", which remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them.

2. How We Use Cookies

The Torro website (usetorro.com) uses a minimal number of cookies to operate correctly and to understand how visitors use the site. We do not use cookies for advertising or behavioural tracking.

3. Types of Cookies We Use

4. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect anonymised information about how visitors use our website. This information is used to compile reports and to help us improve the site.

The data collected by Google Analytics — including your approximate location (derived from your IP address), browser type, and pages visited — is transmitted to and stored on Google's servers. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required by law or where those parties process the information on Google's behalf.

We have enabled IP anonymisation in Google Analytics, meaning your full IP address is never stored. You can opt out of Google Analytics at any time by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

For more information on how Google uses data, see Google's Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

5. Managing and Disabling Cookies

You can control and manage cookies in several ways:

  • Browser settings — most browsers allow you to view, delete, and block cookies through their settings. Note that disabling essential cookies will prevent the Torro platform from functioning correctly.
  • Google Analytics opt-out — install the browser add-on provided by Google.

6. Consent

Essential cookies are strictly necessary for the website and platform to function and do not require your consent. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) are only placed with your consent, which we request when you first visit our website.

You may withdraw your consent to analytics cookies at any time by adjusting your browser settings or using the Google Analytics opt-out tool described above.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. The updated policy will be effective as of the date indicated at the top of this page.
